Millville is a city located in Cache County, Utah. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 1,507.

GEOGRAPHY
Millville is located at 41°41'3" North, 111°49'4" West (41.684131, -111.817779)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 6.1 km² (2.3 mi²). 6.1 km² (2.3 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

DEMOGRAPHICS
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,507 people, 395 households, and 361 families residing in the city. The population density was 247.6/km² (642.3/mi²). There were 405 housing units at an average density of 66.5/km² (172.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 96.75% White, 0.00% African American, 0.40% Native American, 0.33% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 1.59% from other races, and 0.93% from two or more races. 2.12% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There were 395 households out of which 59.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 83.5% were married couples living together, 6.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 8.4% were non-families. 7.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 2.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.82 and the average family size was 4.02.

In the city the population was spread out with 39.2% under the age of 18, 12.8% from 18 to 24, 25.3% from 25 to 44, 18.2% from 45 to 64, and 4.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 23 years. For every 100 females there were 102.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 103.3 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $51,513, and the median income for a family was $52,813. Males had a median income of $32,969 versus $22,500 for females. The per capita income for the city was $13,977. 3.1% of the population and 2.7% of families were below the poverty line. 2.2% of those under the age of 18 and 6.8% of those 65 and older were living below the poverty line.

HISTORY OF MILLVILLE
Millville is three mile southeast of Logan, where the first sawmill in Cache Valley was built. The settlement was subsequently established in 1860. Prior to that, one or two individuals had taken up land in the vicinity and the area was known as the Elkhorn Ranch.
